Scuba Diving and Snorkelling Holidays in Bunaken

Ideal for: Singles, groups and couples. new divers and marine offciandos

Rated as some of the best wall diving in Asia and described in 2012 as having a richer marine biodiversity then the waters around Komodo, the Bunaken Marine Reserve offers pristine coral formations, bustling reef life, Reef Sharks, Turtles and more.

The reefs rise from the depths to almost skim the surface, and as the majority of the marine life and colour lies between 5-15m, Bunaken an excellent place to dive for all levels of experience. Gliding alongside these vibrant walls all the usual Indonesian reef life can be found, from Lionfish to Turtles, Seahorses to Sweetlips, while Barracudas, Trevally and Reef Sharks patrol the water column.

Wall diving is the main draw to the Bunaken Marine Reserve, and there are plenty of critters hidden amongst the corals. The Molas Wreck is an interesting diversion to explore. Night diving is spectacular. Muck diving off the nearby Manado coast makes Bunaken a great place for those looking for varied and interesting diving.
