The Hawaiian island chain is made up of 132 islands, though we generally only think of the eight main islands, Ni'ihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, Kahoolawe and Hawaii. Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and located over 2400 miles from the nearest continent has created a unique underwater environment, in fact over 25% of marine life is endemic to Hawaii. The marine life around the islands can include Mantas, Morays, Turtles, Frogfish set against a backdrop of dazzling coral reefs and volcanic topography. There is even the possibility of giants such as Whale Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Dolphins and even Humpback Whales.
Diving from a liveaboard will take guests to more remote dive sites then day trip boats with better chances of seeing the large pelagics on pristine, less crowded diving.
