Sailing 5 different itineraries throughout the year to get the best out of the Maldives diving, the 34 metre Maldives Siren is a liveaboard built with diver comfort and safety in mind. It was built in Sulawesi, handcrafted from ironwood and teak in a traditional indonesian design.
The 7 luxurious cabins feature ensuite facilities, air conditioning, bathrobes, hairdryers, personal audio visual entertainment system and even a computer for those with cameras. The cabins are either fixed double or twin bed, and some can be converted from twin to a double. There are also two triple bed cabins.
There is an air-conditioned lounge with bar, sofas, a 42 inch flatscreen TV, and a library of books and games. Also, a covered outdoor dining and refreshment area, all served buffet style.
The spacious dive deck feature ample room for personal storage, designated camera charging tables and large rinse tanks. There is an upper level sun deck with 6 cushioned loungers.
Instead of an accompanying dive boat like many Maldives liveaboards, the S/Y Maldives Siren has 2 inflatable dinghy speedboats to bring divers direct to the dive sites in small groups. There are also kayaks available for guests to use, and a massage service.
The Maldives has long been a favourite dive destination with outstanding coral reefs and diverse aquatic life. Famed for encounters with some of the oceans giants such as Manta and Eagle Rays, Napoleon Wrasse, Grey Reef, White Tip Reef and even Tiger and Whale Sharks people often miss the smaller critters such as Frogfish which are there if you have the spotter's eye.
